Off home to Pune for a day Monday morning. Then Hyderabad on Tuesday for COMAD 2005b - the wierdest named conference I will have been to - the 'b' comes from it being the second conference in 2005 of an annual conference series. The one that happened in January in Goa was the 2004 edition delayed due to some reason.

Comad is the Indian DB community's conference which has been growing steadily though it is still very small. I am just going for networking; it is an excellent chance to meet everyone in the country doing anything related to data management. All the researchers, the Internet companies, research labs, institutes, pretty much everyone is going to be there. I am really just going for the Biryani and to see a bit of Hyderabad. And did I forget to tell you, advisor is funding the trip.

There might be an LJ meet too. Will also catch up with a very old childhood friend from Delhi. Back in The City on Thursday night.
